BBNG x Odd Future

Released in 2011, BBNG x Odd Future is a pivotal early document from the Toronto trio BADBADNOTGOOD. Recorded live, the album consists of instrumental jazz reinterpretations of tracks by the Odd Future collective, specifically focusing on the work of Tyler, The Creator and Hodgy Beats. This release was instrumental in the band's rapid ascent, as it caught the attention of Tyler himself and helped bridge the gap between traditional jazz audiences and the burgeoning alternative hip-hop scene.
