Black Pumas

Released in 2019, the self-titled debut from Black Pumas is a collaboration between veteran producer/guitarist Adrian Quesada and singer-songwriter Eric Burton. Quesada, formerly of Grupo Fantasma, provided the cinematic, instrumental backdrops - heavily influenced by hip-hop production aesthetics and vintage soul - while Burton brought a busker's raw emotionality and vocal range.
