Harmony

Harmony is the ill-fated second studio album by the British R&B trio Honeyz, originally scheduled for a 2001 release via Mercury Records. Following the departure of original member Mariama Goodman and the arrival of Mariama's replacement (and subsequent return of Goodman), the album's production was caught in a period of lineup instability and shifting label priorities. Despite the lead single 'I Don't Know' reaching the UK Top 30, the full-length project was shelved, making it a 'lost' relic of the UK R&B scene. Sonically, the album moves away from the pure pop-soul of their debut 'Wonder No. 8' toward a more contemporary, urban sound influenced by the success of US acts like Destiny's Child, yet it retains a distinctly British politeness and melodic focus.
