Killing With a Smile is the 2005 debut studio album by Parkway Drive, a release that effectively put Australian metalcore on the global map. Produced by Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage), the album serves as a bridge between the melodic death metal influence of the Gothenburg scene (At the Gates, In Flames) and the rhythmic, breakdown-heavy style of American metallic hardcore.
