Little Thoughts EP

Released in late 2004, the Little Thoughts EP served as a crucial bridge and teaser for Bloc Party's debut full-length, Silent Alarm. While the band was already gaining traction in the UK, this release solidified their sonic identity: a blend of Gang of Four's angularity with a more melodic, emotive core. The title track and 'Tulips' are quintessential examples of the band's early style, featuring Matt Tong's distinctive, high-energy drumming and the interlocking guitar work of Kele Okereke and Russell Lissack.
