Pho

Released in 2016, Pho serves as Ari Lennox’s major-label introduction under J. Cole’s Dreamville imprint. While her later work would expand into more orchestral and polished soul, this EP is defined by its raw, minimalist approach and heavy collaboration with producer DJ Grumble.
