Sacred Words

Released in late 2015, Sacred Words is a multi-faceted EP that serves as a companion piece to the band's 2014 full-length, You Can't Stop Me. It is notable for being one of the first releases to showcase the band's willingness to experiment with their core deathcore sound, specifically through the inclusion of an industrial-leaning remix. The EP features the title track in four different iterations: the original studio version, a live recording from the RockPart Festival in Hungary, an instrumental version, and a remix by 'We Are Strong'. This repetitive focus on a single track allows for a deep dive into its composition and versatility. Additionally, the EP includes live versions of 'Inherit the Crown' and 'Cease to Exist', which highlight Eddie Hermida's vocal agility and the band's tight, aggressive live performance. Critically, it was seen as a bridge between their traditional sound and the more controversial, experimental directions they would take on their 2017 self-titled album.
