Released in 1997, Space Age Inventions is a rare and fascinating artifact in the discography of Tijs Verwest, better known as Tiësto. Issued during a period when he was still establishing his identity through various aliases and collaborations, this EP finds him exploring the harder, more repetitive sounds of Techno and Tech-House. Unlike the melodic 'Magik' series or the anthemic 'Elements of Life' era, these tracks are stripped-back and rhythm-centric.
