Achillea is a project led by Danish producer and multi-instrumentalist Jens Gad, best known for his long-term collaboration as a co-producer and guitarist for the global phenomenon Enigma. Launched in the mid-2000s, Achillea serves as a vehicle for Gad's exploration of 'world-chill' and high-concept electronic music.

The project's sound identity is characterized by the 'Enigmatic' production style: heavy use of reverb, mid-tempo breakbeats, and ethereal female vocals, but with a more focused thematic approach. Their debut, 'The Nine Worlds', featured Helene Hørlyck and focused on Nordic mythology, while the sequel 'Amadas Estrellas' shifted to a Spanish-language palette with vocalist Luisa Fernández.
