Dagda

Dagda is an Irish ambient/electronic duo consisting of songwriter Reg Keating and programmer Phillip O'Reilly. Formed in Dublin in 1997, the project emerged during the height of the global Celtic music revival, bridging the gap between traditional Irish folk and the burgeoning chillout/downtempo scene.

Their sound identity is defined by the contrast between Keating's traditional flute and whistle playing and O'Reilly's digital programming. They frequently utilize high-end session vocalists to create an ethereal, 'Enya-esque' vocal wall.
