Acylum

Acylum is a German dark electro project founded in 2004 by Pedro Engel. Their debut, 'Your Pain' (2005), established a career-long fascination with taboo subjects and provocative sampling, a trait that has occasionally drawn controversy but cemented their status in the underground 'Endzeit' scene. Musically, Acylum is often compared to early :Wumpscut: or Suicide Commando due to its bleak thematic focus and heavy vocal distortion. Over two decades, the project has evolved to incorporate more sophisticated cinematic textures and complex layering, particularly on later releases like 'Filthy Memories'. They are a staple of the Alfa Matrix roster, representing the more aggressive, uncompromising side of European industrial music.
