Dulce Liquido

Dulce Liquido is the solo outlet for Racso Agroyam, one half of the seminal Mexican aggrotech duo Hocico. Since its inception in 2000, the project has served as a more experimental and abrasive counterpart to Hocico's more structured dark electro.

The sound identity is defined by high-BPM rhythmic noise, heavy use of distortion, and a 'terror EBM' aesthetic that emerged from the vibrant industrial scene in Mexico City. Throughout the early 2000s, albums like Shock Therapy cemented Agroyam's reputation as a master of sonic aggression, influencing a generation of dark electro and power noise producers. Critical consensus highlights the project's ability to maintain a dancefloor-ready pulse while incorporating elements of harsh noise and glitch. After a period of relative quiet, the project's return in the 2020s with Dystopia and subsequent releases shows an evolution toward even denser, more complex digital textures while retaining the signature 'hateful' energy that defined its debut.
