Black Nasa is a New Jersey-based power trio formed by Chris Kosnik during his tenure with the more progressive and psychedelic Atomic Bitchwax. Unlike the virtuosic, high-speed space rock of Bitchwax, Black Nasa was conceived as a vehicle for a more grounded, groove-centric hard rock sound.
The project features Kosnik on bass and vocals, alongside guitarist Duane Hutter and drummer Corey Stubblefield. Their sound is characterized by a 'less is more' philosophy, prioritizing band interplay and rhythmic cohesion over individual soloing.
