Break of Reality

Formed in 2003 at the Eastman School of Music, Break of Reality (BoR) is a cornerstone of the 'cello rock' and 'indie classical' movements. While contemporaries like Apocalyptica lean toward thrash metal and Zoë Keating explores solo looping, BoR functions as a tight-knit rock quartet where the cello is the primary harmonic and melodic engine.
