Chungking

Chungking is a British electronic group formed in Brighton, consisting of Sean Hennessey, James Stephenson, and vocalist Jessie Banks. Their sound identity is defined by a fusion of trip-hop foundations with synth-pop and indie pop sensibilities.

Initially discovered via a Tokyo DJ who championed their basement demos, the band signed to Tummy Touch Records before moving to Gut Records.
