Deathrow

Deathrow is an Italian black metal project primarily driven by Gionata Potenti, a prolific figure in the Italian extreme metal scene known for his work in Handful of Hate and Hiems. Formed in 2005, the project serves as a more personal and atmospheric outlet compared to the more straightforward aggression of his other bands.

The sound is characterized by a 'drummer-first' approach to composition, where rhythmic shifts dictate the emotional arc of the songs.
