Digitalism, the Hamburg-based duo of Jens Moelle and İsmail Tüfekçi, emerged in 2004 as a pivotal force in the electro house and 'indie-dance' movement. Their 2007 debut, Idealism, became a cornerstone of the blog-house era, featuring tracks like 'Zdarlight' and 'Pogo' that defined the sound of global festivals for years. Critically, they are respected for maintaining a consistent sonic identity while evolving through the more expansive textures of 'Mirage' (2016) and the conceptual 'JPEG' (2019). They occupy a unique space as 'electronic musicians who write songs,' making them a staple for both club DJs and indie-rock fans.
