As the founder of International Deejay Gigolos, he was the primary architect of the Electroclash movement in the late 90s and early 2000s, signing artists like Fischerspooner and Miss Kittin & The Hacker. His sound identity is built on a foundation of Roland TR-808 percussion, cold-wave synth leads, and a 'punk DJ' ethos that prioritizes attitude and subversion over technical transparency. Critically, he is viewed as a tastemaker who successfully integrated high-fashion aesthetics with underground club culture.
