E-Craft

E-Craft is a seminal German electronic body music (EBM) and electro-industrial project founded in 1996 by Guido Henning in East Germany. Emerging from the post-reunification industrial scene, the band quickly established a reputation for a 'brutally forceful' sound that bridged the gap between traditional EBM and the more aggressive 'aggrotech' movement of the late 90s and early 2000s. Their sonic identity is built on heavy, lashing sequences, grinding modulation, and a mix of noise-art with surprisingly durable melodic hooks.

Throughout their career, E-Craft has been noted for their relentless touring schedule, particularly in the United States, where they achieved significant underground success. Their evolution saw them move from the raw, metallic textures of 'Die Stahl AG' to the more sophisticated, high-fidelity production found on 'Electrocution' and 'DOS_UNIT'. Critically, they are viewed as a bridge between the old-school EBM of bands like Nitzer Ebb and the harder, club-oriented sounds of the 21st-century industrial scene.
