Intro

Fish narc creates a sound that feels like a bridge between a damp Seattle basement show and a late-night SoundCloud upload. The music is defined by its refusal to choose between the organic and the digital, layering bright, often melancholic guitar melodies over the sharp, rattling percussion of modern trap. It is intimate and unpolished, carrying the weight of the GothBoiClique legacy while pushing into more experimental, indie-leaning territory.

What truly sets this artist apart is the tactile nature of the production. While many of his peers rely on heavily processed samples, fish narc brings a live-instrumentalist's sensibility to the beat-making process. You can hear the fingers sliding on the guitar strings and the specific, warm hiss of a bedroom recording. It is music that feels lived-in, capturing the specific anxiety and beauty of navigating adulthood in the underground.

Start with the album WiLDFiRE to hear the perfect distillation of his hybrid style. It showcases his ability to write catchy, guitar-driven hooks that still hit with the rhythmic impact of hip-hop. From there, explore Fruiting Body to see how his move back to the Pacific Northwest has infused his sound with a more pastoral, indie-rock experimentalism.
