Iambic is the primary electronic project of London-based producer Guy Andrews, originally debuting as Iambic² in 2004. The project represents a pivotal bridge between the mid-2000s IDM scene and the more melodic, cinematic 'ambient-hop' and post-rock movements of the era.

Andrews' work is characterized by a sophisticated blending of live instrumentation, particularly jazz-influenced piano and post-rock guitar textures, with intricate digital processing. His debut LP, 'Under These Stars, We’ll Sleep Again' (2007), established a signature sound of 'uplifting ambient jazz' that avoided the darker tropes of industrial IDM in favor of emotive, widescreen compositions.
