Intro was a seminal R&B trio from Brooklyn and Queens, New York, consisting of Kenny Greene, Jeff Sanders, and Clinton 'Buddy' Wike. Formed in 1990 and discovered by DJ Eddie F, they became central figures in the 'Untouchables' production camp.

Their sound served as a bridge between the aggressive swing-beat of the late 80s and the more organic, song-focused R&B of the mid-90s. Lead singer Kenny Greene was the group's creative engine, a prolific songwriter who penned Mary J. Blige's 'Reminisce' and 'Love No Limit.' This pedigree gave Intro a level of harmonic sophistication often missing from standard boy-band fare. Their 1993 debut went gold, fueled by hits like 'Come Inside' and 'Let Me Be the One.' While their 1995 follow-up 'New Life' was critically praised for its maturity and Greene's increased production role, it didn't reach the same commercial heights.
