Les Petits Pilous

Les Petits Pilous, the duo of Anthony Ferrando and Jean-Patrick Simonetti, emerged from the fertile French electronic scene of the mid-2000s. Their origin is famously tied to a Para One concert, which inspired them to begin producing their own brand of aggressive electro.

Signed to Alex Ridha's influential Boys Noize Records, they became key architects of the 'fidget house' and 'bloghouse' movements. Their sound identity is characterized by extreme dynamic shifts, heavy distortion, and a maximalist approach to digital production. While often categorized as electro or techno, their work frequently incorporates breakbeat structures and industrial textures. Critically, they are viewed as a bridge between the melodic French Touch of the 90s and the harder, more abrasive 'Ed Banger' and 'Boys Noize' era.
