Formed in Rijeka in 1987, Let 3 is Croatia's premier shock-rock outfit and a cornerstone of the former Yugoslav alternative scene. Led by Damir Martinović (Mrle) and Zoran Prodanović (Prlja), the band evolved from the post-punk 'Termiti' into a conceptual powerhouse.
Their sound identity is built on a foundation of heavy alternative rock, but it is defined by its 'Balkan-punk' synthesis, where regional folk tropes are deconstructed through a lens of aggressive satire. Culturally, they occupy a unique space as both mainstream celebrities and radical provocateurs, a status cemented by their 2023 Eurovision appearance. Their career is marked by legendary stunts, such as releasing an empty CD ('Nečuveno') and staging public mock executions.
