Intro

Logos is a prominent fixture in the modern wave of Italian symphonic progressive rock. Formed in 1996 in Verona, the band spent nearly two decades refining a sound that pays homage to 70s legends like PFM, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, and Le Orme while integrating contemporary production standards.

Their sound identity is defined by the heavy use of vintage-style keyboards (Moog, Hammond, Mellotron) and a highly melodic, often philosophical approach to songwriting. After their 1999 self-titled debut and 2001's 'Asrava', the band entered a long hiatus, returning in 2014 with 'L'enigma della vita', which was hailed by critics as a masterpiece of the genre. Their 2020 release, 'Sadako e le mille gru di carta', further solidified their position, showcasing a more mature, emotionally resonant style. They occupy a central role in the 'Neo-Prog' and 'RPI' (Rock Progressivo Italiano) communities, respected for their technical proficiency and their ability to maintain the genre's traditional grandiosity in a modern context.
