Quazar

Quazar is a seminal project in the history of Dutch electronic music, primarily led by Gert van Veen, a former music journalist who transitioned from documenting the 'New Dance Craze' to shaping it. Formed in Utrecht/Amsterdam in 1989, the group's early work, particularly 'Seven Stars', is credited with helping establish the Dutch techno and house identity.

Their sound identity is a complex hybrid: it utilizes the rhythmic architecture of Chicago house and Detroit techno but applies a distinctively European melodic sensibility and a deep reverence for George Clinton style P-funk.
