Shimmering twin harmonies floating over intricate electronic pulses. Ethereal dream pop that feels like a neon-lit city viewed through a soft-focus lens.
Formed in New York City in 2007, the American indie rock band School of Seven Bells featured Alejandra Deheza, Claudia Deheza, and Benjamin Curtis. The group, named after a rumored South American pickpocket academy, released music through Vagrant Records. Following Claudia's 2010 departure and Curtis's 2013 death, the band finalized their fourth and final studio album, SVIIB, using posthumous demos. The project concluded with this 2016 release.
