Stark, cinematic art rock that fuses taiko drums, orchestral woodwinds, and icy electronics. A restless, high-concept sound for deep focus and dark nights.
Formed in 2006 in Southend-on-Sea, the English art rock group These New Puritans centers on twin brothers Jack and George Barnett. Over nearly two decades, the band has released five studio albums through Infectious Music, including their 2025 record Crooked Wing. Their experimental sound integrates classical and electronic elements, resulting in a modern aesthetic that remains timeless. Throughout their history, the project has featured various collaborators, including Thomas Hein, Sophie Sleigh-Johnson, and Elisa Rodrigues.
