Intro

Trick or Treat delivers a shot of pure, unadulterated musical adrenaline. Their sound is defined by the 'Happy Metal' ethos, where the technical precision of European power metal meets a bright, almost cartoonish sense of wonder. Expect lightning-fast guitar solos, thunderous double-bass drumming, and choruses so massive they feel designed to be sung by ten thousand people at once.

What truly sets them apart is their refusal to take the genre's typical self-seriousness at face value. While they possess the chops of their legendary influences, they infuse their work with a whimsical, theatrical energy. Whether they are adapting epic literature or paying homage to 80s anime, there is a palpable sense of fun and 'joie de vivre' that radiates through the wall of sound.

Start with 'Rabbits' Hill, Pt. 1' for a masterclass in conceptual storytelling through speed metal, or dive into 'Evil Needs Candy Too' to hear their early, high-energy roots. It is the perfect soundtrack for anyone who wants their heavy music to feel like a celebration rather than a funeral.

Trick or Treat is an Italian power metal band formed in 2002 in Modena. The group's line-up has been mostly the same since its inception, except for the drummer position, which underwent changes in 2006 and 2011, and in 2014 guitarist and founding member Luca Cabri left the band and was replaced by Luca Venturelli. So far, they have released eight studio albums.
