CONCRETE JUNGLE [THE OST] (Minus Lives)

Released as a companion piece to their 'Concrete Jungle' comic book series, this project serves as a hybrid between a soundtrack, a remix album, and a collaborative compilation. Following the massive success of 'The Death of Peace of Mind', Bad Omens utilized this release to experiment with their sonic boundaries, incorporating heavy industrial influences, glitch-hop, and ambient textures. The tracklist is structured with 'C:\Projects' interludes that frame the experience as a digital file system, emphasizing the cyberpunk aesthetic. It features significant collaborations, most notably with Poppy on the lead single 'V.A.N', which pushed the band further into the industrial-pop sphere. The album includes 'Unzipped' and 'Patch' versions of previous hits, showcasing a deconstructive approach to their own songwriting. Critically, it represents the band's shift toward a 'curator' role, blending various sub-genres into a cohesive, high-fidelity brand that appeals to both metal fans and electronic enthusiasts.
