Superbuick

Released independently in 1996, Superbuick is the sophomore effort from Cleveland's Mushroomhead and remains a cornerstone of their underground legacy. While much of this material was later polished for the 'XX' compilation, the original Superbuick recordings possess a raw, lo-fi charm and a more prominent experimental edge. The album is a masterclass in the '90s industrial-alternative crossover, blending the groove of nu-metal with the cold, mechanical textures of industrial music.
