Here I Go Again on My Own

Released in 2002 on the City Centre Offices label, 'Here I Go Again on My Own' is the definitive statement from The Remote Viewer (the duo of Andrew Brenner and Craig Tattersall). Coming out of the fertile post-techno scene of Northern England, the album represents a peak in the 'glitch-ambient' movement. Unlike their contemporaries who focused on aggressive DSP processing, Brenner and Tattersall utilized digital errors to create a sense of nostalgia and decay. The album's title, a cheeky nod to Whitesnake, belies the somber and introspective nature of the music.
