Scourge of the Enthroned

Released in 2018, Scourge of the Enthroned marks Krisiun's tenth studio outing and was widely hailed as a return to their most aggressive roots. Following the more experimental and slower-paced Forged in Fury, this album sees the Brazilian trio - brothers Alex Camargo, Moyses Kolesne, and Max Kolesne - returning to the high-speed, high-precision death metal that defined their early career classics. Recorded at Stage One Studio with producer Andy Classen, the album benefits from an 'old school' recording philosophy that favors a natural drum sound and warm guitar tones over digital triggers and excessive layering. This approach highlights the band's unique chemistry and technical proficiency.
