Starfucker

Released in 2008, the self-titled debut from STRFKR (then Starfucker) established Josh Hodges' project as a vital force in the Portland indie scene. Recorded largely as a solo endeavor before expanding into a full band, the album is characterized by its 'bedroom production' aesthetic, utilizing analog synths, drum machines, and acoustic instruments to create a sound that is both 'laidback' and 'epic.'
