The ArchAndroid

The ArchAndroid is the debut full-length studio album by Janelle Monáe, serving as the second and third installments of her Metropolis concept series. Produced primarily by the Wondaland Arts Society collective (Nate 'Rocket' Wonder and Chuck Lightning), the album is a landmark of Afrofuturism, using the story of android Cindi Mayweather to explore themes of civil rights, queer identity, and the human condition.
