The Avett Brothers

Released in 2000, this self-titled EP (often referred to as their debut or the 'Self-Titled EP') serves as the foundational document for The Avett Brothers. Recorded before the addition of long-time bassist Bob Crawford, the tracks are primarily built around the interplay of Scott's banjo and Seth's guitar. Sonically, it is significantly more subdued than their breakout albums like 'Emotionalism' or 'I and Love and You.'
