Tysk hudindustri

Released in 2001, Tysk hudindustri (German Flesh Industry) is the third studio album by Red Warszawa, though it cheekily carries the subtitle 'Greatest Hits 1986–2000 Volume 3'. This record solidified the band's position as the premier satirical force in the Danish metal scene. Sonically, the album is a hybrid of heavy metal, thrash, and hardcore punk, characterized by 'Lækre' Jens's distinctive, unpolished vocals and 'Heavy' Henning's deliberately crude guitar work. The album is famous for its unconventional structure, featuring 64 tracks, the majority of which are silent or extremely short, a move that parodies the 'hidden track' trend of the era. Lyrically, it tackles everything from drug use and alcoholism to mundane Danish life, all through a lens of transgressive humor.
