Yesterwynde

Yesterwynde serves as the tenth studio album by Nightwish and the final installment of a thematic trilogy focused on nature, science, and the human condition. Released in 2024, it marks a significant transitional period for the band, being the first studio effort without bassist/vocalist Marko Hietala in over two decades. This shift necessitated a restructuring of the band's vocal dynamics, moving away from the 'beauty and the beast' duet style toward a more choral and Jansen-centric approach.
