Avalanch is a cornerstone of the Spanish heavy metal scene, originating from Asturias in the late 1980s. Under the unwavering leadership of guitarist and composer Alberto Rionda, the band has navigated multiple lineup changes while maintaining a high standard of technical proficiency.
