Honeyroot

Honeyroot is the collaborative project of Glenn Gregory (Heaven 17) and Keith Lowndes, representing a sophisticated evolution of the UK electronic and synth-pop scenes. Formed in the early 2000s, the duo moved away from the dancefloor-oriented sounds of their previous associations to explore ambient, downtempo, and cinematic textures.

Their sound identity is defined by high-fidelity production, a preference for analog warmth, and Gregory's distinctive, hushed vocal delivery. A significant portion of their critical recognition stems from their ability to recontextualize classic tracks - most notably their cover of Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' - into melancholic, slow-burn electronic ballads.
