Throughout the 1990s, Inertia became a staple of the European festival circuit, particularly at Wave Gotik Treffen, and successfully toured the US alongside Das Ich, cementing their status in the global darkwave community. Critically, the band is noted for its high production values and its ability to incorporate elements of metalcore-adjacent intensity into a purely electronic framework.
