Parov Stelar

Parov Stelar, the professional alias of Austrian producer Marcus Füreder, is the primary architect of the electro swing genre. Emerging from the Linz club scene in the early 2000s, Füreder moved away from traditional techno and house toward a sample-heavy fusion of vintage jazz, swing, and blues.

His breakthrough came with the 2004 EP 'KissKiss', which established his signature technique: taking 1920s-1940s brass and vocal recordings and re-contextualizing them over crisp, modern electronic beats.
