Tryglav is the solo creative vehicle of Boris Behara, an artist who has successfully bridged the gap between the Balkan and Scandinavian black metal traditions. Formed in 2018, the project quickly gained traction for its high production values and technical proficiency, a departure from the 'bedroom black metal' stereotype.

Behara handles all songwriting and studio instrumentation, crafting a sound that emphasizes melodicism without sacrificing the genre's inherent ferocity. The project's identity is heavily tied to plague-era imagery and Slavic mythology, providing a conceptual depth that complements the aggressive sonic palette. Critically, Tryglav is often grouped with the 'new wave' of melodic black metal, characterized by digital-age clarity and a focus on tight, rhythmic execution rather than atmospheric wash.
