The Sickness

Released in March 2000, The Sickness serves as the foundational blueprint for Disturbed's career and remains their most commercially successful work. While often categorized under the broad 'nu-metal' umbrella, the album distinguishes itself through its lack of turntables and a heavier reliance on industrial textures and '80s-inspired vocal theatrics.
