Amon

Amon is a seminal entity within the Czech black metal underground, formed in Brno in 1989. Their sound identity is rooted in the first-wave transition into the second wave, characterized by a primitive, raw production aesthetic that emphasizes atmosphere over technicality.

Throughout the 1990s, the band navigated the 'occult metal' space, briefly adopting the name Amon Goeth to distinguish themselves within a crowded global field of similarly named projects.
