Dreamland

Dreamland is a Swedish power metal outfit formed in 2003, emerging during a prolific era for the European melodic metal scene. Led by the vision of guitarist Eric Golschmidt and featuring the high-register vocal capabilities of Joacim Landin, the band quickly established a reputation for 'Euro-power' excellence.

Their sound identity is built on a foundation of traditional heavy metal (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest) fused with the speed and melodic density of Helloween and Stratovarius. Across their three primary full-length releases, 'Future's Calling' (2005), 'Eye for an Eye' (2007), and 'Exit 49' (2009), they evolved from a demo-driven project into a sophisticated studio entity. Critically, they are regarded as a reliable pillar of the Swedish scene, often compared to peers like Supreme Majesty or HammerFall for their commitment to clean production and anthemic structures. Their influence web connects back to the neoclassical shred era of the 80s while looking forward to the more symphonic elements of modern power metal.
