Intohimo, hailing from Jönköping, Sweden, emerged in 2004 as a pivotal force in the European post-hardcore and screamo revival. Their debut, 'Failures, Failures, Failures & Hope', established them as leaders of the Swedish underground, winning 'Best Unsigned Act' before they even had a full-length release. The band's later EPs, 'Winter Sun' and 'Northern Lights', leaned further into atmospheric, almost post-rock textures before their dissolution in 2013.
